Considering camp for your kids this summer? Do you have fond memories of camp yourself?
Many H.U.M. kids go to either Wanake Camp & Retreat Center (by Massillon, OH) or Camp Asbury in Hiram. Kids can start attending once they have completed kindergarten.
Both camps are accredited. Both are a ministry of the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.
They offer day camps, mini-camps and full week camps, not to mention family camps too! Registering by May 1st each year helps them provide the highest quality summer camp experience possible (and possibly an early bird discount!).
Camperships are available from both H.U.M. and the District. Look for campership applications and camp brochures by late February or early March on the welcome table in the Narthex each year.
