Operation Christmas Child

Christmas is about sharing the gift of God’s son Jesus Christ with the world. You can share Christ with needy children in Afghanistan, Sudan, or another troubled country by taking part in Operation Christmas Child, a missions project of Samaritan’s Purse.

Any age can fill a shoe box for a needy child. Complete instructions on how to fill a shoebox will be in the Narthex. If you don’t have a shoebox, stop by the table in the Narthex where there will be boxes ready to go. If you run short of time and can’t fill a box, you can make a donation to Operation Christmas Child and Linda Drew will shop for the items to fill a one for you.

It is incredible to see children’s eyes light up when they receive these shoe boxes! They also receive Christian literature in their own language inside their shoebox. What a great way to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the children and their parents!

Please make it a part of your Christmas tradition to send a shoebox and spread the message of Jesus Christ. If you have any questions about Operation Christmas Child, contact Linda Drew or Shari Dillon. Thank you for supporting this wonderful mission!
