Congratulations to Chloe Drennen, Conor Harries, Elizabeth Manning, Olivia Nicholas, Kyle Noble, and Sean Norton. They were received into membership in the United Methodist Church and into the fellowship of Howland United Methodist Church with full membership benefits, May 11, 2008. The baptized individual is confirmed when he or she affirms or confirms -- before the church -- those baptismal vows that they made, or that were made for them, earlier.   We welcome these six young people into full membership of the Howland United Methodist Church, and pray God's eternal blessings upon each one. May we fulfill our vows to nurture and encourage them in their faith journey, that they may grow in faith and serve God in whatever ways he calls them to serve.   These young people have worked hard with their teachers, mentors, parents, and advisors to prepare themselves for membership in the church. This commitment is a serious act of discipleship and faith. We celebrate these young men and women who represent the future of the Christian Church.
