Welcome to Howland United Methodist Church…the fastest growing United Methodist Church in the state of Ohio, and one of the fastest growing churches anywhere. In the past two years our average worship attendance has nearly doubled from 145 to 287!
Our church's vision is to be a family church -- a church family which focuses on building strong families. If you have children or youth, you'll definitely want to visit our church. We have incredibly strong children's ministries. Each week you'll see 50-60 children come forward for the pastor's children's sermon, and then go to a special children's church time designed just for them. And while they are enjoying children's church, you'll hear biblical sermons to inspire you and encourage you, and sometimes even challenge you.
If you join us at one of our 9:30 a.m. Sunday services, you'll find something for everyone. Our services include a wonderful choir and the familiar hymns you may have grown up with. Our dynamic praise and worship band, Firmly Grounded, lead us in some of the best of today's Christian worship music -- music you hear on the radio today.
We have a fabulous Sunday school program for children and adults, many small groups, and many ways to serve God and make a difference!
